Although
the idea for this hit show was a combined effort with Objective Productions,
Alexis, along with his screen partner Paul Wilson, has been instrumental
in collating and writing the material to be shot for this factual
entertainment series.
Based on the research of true events, i.e. scams, which have actually happened and do happen, The Real Hustle re-enacts those shifty scenarios, which we can all find ourselves in if we don’t pay any attention and shows that even if we do, the hustlers out there can still come up with some pretty good ways to steal your money, property, car - in fact, anything!
First conceived
in 2005, The Real Hustle has become BBC3’s most successful
show and is now in its 8th series. It was nominated for an RTS award
in 2007.
